아침에 오마니께서 끓여주신 맛있는 미역국을 먹고 학교로 오는 버스에서,

Let it be를 듣다가 울음을 터뜨리고 말았다.

내가 존재하고 있는 31년간의 과정들이 수많은 감정으로 물밀듯이 밀려왔던 거 같다.

난 여전히, 내가 존재하고 있다는게 믿기지 않는다.

그래서 생일이라는 날을 부담스러워면서 자랐나보다.

그런데 어느 순간부터 버티고 있다는 것,

그게 참으로 위대한 일이라는 걸 조금씩 알아가게 되었다.

그냥 존재하는 것.

그 자체가 철학이고 역사이고, 사랑인 것 같다.

내가 존재하게 해주는 세상의 다른 존재들에게 감사하고 감사하고 또 감사할 따름이다. 

자꾸만 눈물이 난다.
